Camper Quest

A young camper had this to say about her experience during Camp Quest:

This year at Camp Quest was a blast! I had fun learning about space and stars. I love camp quest! I hope the theme next year is ecosystems so that I can learn about forests and desserts.

I enjoyed the food we ate, and the activities. My favorite activity was making the rockets with Tom. First we had to put the motor in, and then set up all the pieces around it. Later when we launched the rockets, mine got stuck in a tree, so I didn't get to bring it home. I called it Destiny, but I guess its destiny was to get cause in the branches of a rocket-eating tree.

The beds in the cabins were hard, but I was so tired at the end of every day that I still slept fine. I also liked how we got so close to nature. I saw a fox, a frog, a snake, and other cool animals. I also saw more ticks than I expected or needed. There was an overpopulation of them this year!

Thank you to Omaha Atheists for letting me go this year. And thank you camp counselors for giving me such a good experience.
